Introducing Workboard Highlights
Workboard Highlights allow technicians to flag specific Flex Appointments (Next Steps) that require extra attention or urgent follow-up. By adding a highlight, you ensure critical tasks remain visible and prioritized within your daily workflow.
Key Features
Visual Flagging: Easily identify high-priority appointments on your Workboard using the star icon and dedicated Highlights section.
Contextual Notes: Each highlight includes a short note explaining why the appointment needs special attention.
Flexible Application: Designed specifically for flagging Flex Appointments (Next Steps).
Typical Use Cases
Technicians often use highlights for reminders, such as:
"Call back by the end of the day".
"Follow-up from earlier conversation".
Noting specific instructions for high-stakes tickets
Administrative Controls
To ensure the feature remains effective and prevents "priority bloat," Admins have granular control over its use:
Enable/Disable: Admins can turn the Highlights feature on or off for the entire team.
Usage Limits: Admins can set a specific limit on how many active highlights a technician can use at one time (e.g., a limit of 2).
How to Use Highlights
On your Workboard, locate the Flex Appointment you wish to flag.
Click the Star icon to open the "Highlight Appointment" dialog.
Enter a brief note explaining the need for special attention.
Click Highlight to save.
View your active highlights in the Highlights summary bar at the bottom right of your screen.
