Using Drag and Drop for appointments
This guide explains how to quickly forward Tickets and their associated Flex or Fix Events using the drag & drop feature within the Head-Up Display (HUD). This is especially useful for handling unexpected scheduling changes, such as an agent calling in sick.
To do this:
- Navigate to the Head-Up Display (HUD) in your system.
-
Find the specific Ticket or Event (Flex/Fix Event) that needs to be forwarded on the schedule.
- Click and hold the scheduled event, then drag it over to the desired destination:
* Another Technician: Drop it onto another agent's schedule to reassign the event.
* Another Time: Drop it into an open slot on the current or another technician's schedule to change the time. - The system will process the drop, and the Ticket/Event will now be associated with the new technician or time slot.
