Exchange/Outlook Calendar Integration and Free/Busy

Exchange/Outlook Calendar Integration and Free/Busy

Rocketship uses the Autotask Exchange Integration to read data from the Exchange/Outlook Calendar. This integration creates Autotask Appointments, but Autotask does not support the concept of “Free/Busy.”

All Appointments are treated as Busy by default.

Because of this, Rocketship also treats every Autotask Appointment (including those synced from Exchange) as Busy, no matter how the Appointment is marked in Outlook.

If needed, you can override this behavior by setting the Appointment to Ignore—either at the Appointment level or for the entire Resource.
